Hello, my dear and lovely readers,
I returned to Germany a few months ago with the hope of rebuilding our nation.
Yesterday, our very last active player let me know that he is emptying his remaining stock and moving on. And just like that—tik tack! The clock has run out.
And so goes the story of a nation.
I dont blame anyone but myself; I simply couldnt overcome the immense difficulties of running a small country in this environment. After all, as we all know, the game is incredibly friendly toward small nations, and the mechanics are definitely not stacked heavily in favor of the giant empires. Naturally, only the insane choose to join those mega-countries, while the sane players stick to fighting for their own small homelands.
And let’s not forget our community chat—always ultra-friendly, completely free of toxicity (god forbid!), where we interact only with mature, highly educated minds, and definitely not keyboard warriors who only know how to bully. Long story short:
when I finally decide to make my exit, I wont write a grand farewell. I will simply vanish.
But for now, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who believed in our cause, joined us, and kept the German flag waving—even when I wasnt around.
We tried, and we failed. It is what it is. A sad duck, Kaveh
